Hi everyone,
Week 3 is coming to its end and I am sharing my impressions of it.
The way of working is becoming clearer. At the beginning of the week we have to read a couple of articles, then we should explore some website(s) and share our opinions on it on Nicenet, learn a new technological tool, then work on a project and finish with a reflection on what you have been doing all the week.
Readings are quite good. At the start they might seem scientific, but then you realize they are well-coordinated with what you are going to do next. The discussions at Nicenet about what you have read and explored clarify the issues, and you feel you are in the flow.
This week I have learnt about Delicious. com, which allows to save links to my favourite websites, see them from any computer, and share with anyone. The hangout done by Donna helped to make my own Delicious page fast enough and then enjoy the bookmarking. I found the site very useful! We also had to add our Delicious page to the list of other participants and see, explore, share each others' interesting links, which I found to be a great idea!
Besides, we have also read through sample final projects from the participants of earlier courses. It gave an overall idea what we are supposed to do at the end of the course and already think how to make it, what to include and how to describe it.
So, my third blog post is ready. It is a good time for me to "stop and smell the roses" as they say and reflect on what I have already done and how I can use that what I have learnt in my own job.
Wishing everyone a nice and lovely end weekend!
Best,

Nahla

Marina
Hi Marina,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about Delicious page,it's so useful. A week ago we have discovered a plenty of interesting sites, which were probably stored haphazardly in our devices.
Wish you all the best.
Satsita
Hi Tsita and Danka,
DeleteThank you and I am glad we are learning about and using tools that I am sure we'll be using in the future.
Have a nice end of the week!

Hi, Marina!
ReplyDeleteI truly liked reading your description of Week 3 activities you have done, and I truly like your style and preciseness of writing. As someone who has been working with engineers for many years, I adopted and started to use some of stylistic features of their writing, such as clearness, precision, presenting things in not many words etc. so I truly admire the way in which you added "soul" to the description given in your post.
Hi Darko,
DeleteThank you for your comment. I would completely agree that we are influenced by those who we teach, so it is not one-way work, but working "in tandem".
Wish you a good weekend!
Marina
Hi Marina,
ReplyDeleteI really liked reading your reflection of week 3 it is well-detailed. And yes, Delicious website is very helpful, I used to use my gmail to save my favorite websites but it isn't practical. Good luck everyone.

Hi Marina,
ReplyDeleteI also think that Delicious com is very useful. Even if when I find good websites to use for classes, I don’t save the list of websites. So it always takes time to recall my memories to find the sites which I found before. By using Delicious com, I do not have to do that anymore.
I enjoyed reading reports of final projects, too. It gave me a whole picture, and now I can tell where I am going. I feel safe now.
